A party was held on Sunday March 27 2022 to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the formation of Polo Park East. Since the COVID pandemic required many of the park’s activities to be cancelled the previous two years, this occasion was a chance for us to:
- Remember residents who have passed
- Honor our original shareholders
- Welcome our new residents
A Remembrance Program was part of the event. Residents were asked to submit photos and narratives of loved ones they wanted remembered and their submissions were edited and assembled into a slideshow.
(A pdf of the slideshow can be viewed Here)
A brief history of Polo Park East becoming Resident Owned followed the Remembrance Program and the Original Shareholders in attendance were recognized and thanked. (A pdf of this slideshow can be viewed Here)
A short slide show was presented which highlighted some of the recent changes to the Park and some of the newer activities that weren’t happening back in 1996.
A time to welcome our newest residents followed that presentation and then the community celebrated with Cake and Ice Cream served by the Board of Directors.
Please be patient

Please plan to attend the PPE Park Anniversary Party on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m
. This is an opportunity to thank the original shareholders who had the vision to create our resident-owned park. In addition to our thanks to those shareholders, we will have a short program that will include a time of remembrance of residents who have passed away, as well as a time to welcome our newest residents. If you would like to recognize a loved-one during the remembrance, please submit your request and information about them by MARCH 1st. There are forms in the office to complete with their name and 2 or 3 sentences you’d like us to know about them. We will be putting a slide show together, so please include 2 or 3 pictures with your submission. Hard copies of photographs can be submitted with the form (they will be returned to you) or they can be emailed to email@example.com. Make sure to include your name and your loved-one’s name in the subject line. Since this is the first remembrance service we are having, any past residents can be included. Starting next year, we will only recognize those residents who pass away during 2022. We will welcome, as new members of our community, those who joined us during 2019, 2020 and 2021. If you have any questions or comments please contact me, Roberta Nadeau, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 863-420-3758.
