Polo Park East is a 55+ community with two hundred thirty-seven manufactured homes located in Davenport, Florida. It is a deed restricted community that is close to many of the large tourist attractions but far enough away so that they do not interfere with our relaxed life style and privacy.
Polo Park East is eight miles from the center of Disney World. Sea World is ten miles away and Universal Studios fifteen miles. We are about fifty miles from the Kennedy Space Center and sixty miles from the Atlantic beaches and Port Canaveral. Sixty miles in the other direction will take you to the Gulf Coast and Busch Gardens. We are about seventy miles from Daytona and Daytona Beach. Much closer are Bok Tower and Gardens, Fantasy of Flight and Legoland. There are fifteen Major League Baseball teams that hold spring trainings throughout the state of Florida. The Detroit Tigers' spring training is held in Lakeland, FL which is an approximate forty minute drive from Polo Park East.
Polo Park East is an easy twenty-five mile drive from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and approximately fifty-three miles from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB).
Our area is rapidly growing in stores and services. There are five supermarkets nearby. Also close are banks, many small shops and service related merchants. We have a Lowe’s Home Center and Super Wal-mart only a mile north, a major shopping mall less than ten miles away. Orange groves are found along the highway as are stands selling delicious fresh citrus.
Heart-of-Florida Regional Medical Center is ten miles away. It has a full trauma center and is adjacent to clinics, labs and physicians’ offices. Other major medical centers are within easy driving distance. There are two nearby walk-in clinics and several doctors close to the park.
There are many church congregations near, both contemporary and traditional; some offering both.
There is a large regional county park just a quarter mile away and a new fire-rescue facility about one half mile distant. A mile north is a new, full service county library.
Tucked back off the highway, Polo Park East is close to everything, yet our privately owned streets are attractive, safe and quiet.
